You want me to think LONG TERM? Fine. Everywhere we are, everything we do and are will eventually revert back to a single atom. The earth will be destroyed. The solar system will die. The galaxy will be pulled into the blackhole inside it. Another galaxy will consume ours. Dark energy will overpower dark matter, and will reverse the expansion of our universe. Eventually everything will suppress back into the atom we were created from. What’s the point in pleasing someone else? We are all so insignificant to care about actions that will be forgotten and erased. I’m going to be who and what I am; if I’m here, I’m going to be here happy.
